On Tuesday, the river brought us together once again.
Through the film “Komarnica: Wilderness That Remains,” we all flowed together, through thoughts and emotions, and formed a protective wall around the Komarnica.
A full hall, eyes fixed on the screen, and a silence that spoke louder than words, along with the occasional tear, showed us just how strong the bond is among people who gather around and for nature.
Our hearts are full, and our hope greater than ever, because the strong turnout sends a clear message: Komarnica has its guardians.
But not only Komarnica.
This community is united and ready to show care and stand in defense of other valuable natural resources in our country as well,resources that are, unfortunately, often under threat due to poor policies, irresponsible planning, and years of prioritizing profit over the interests of citizens.
We continue the fight, doing our best to preserve what is most valuable. In this, we are connected by the same desire and countless ideas that flow into free rivers, forests, mountains, and a free human being.
